World Scholars has a powerful group of counselors, social workers and diagnostics to support our students on the daily.

They invest their time in seeing that our students excel in-and-out of the classroom, by providing mentoring opportunities, and seeing through that students are getting the academic assistance needed to tackle STISD's challenging course curriculum.

STISD Preparatory Academy and STISD Rising Scholars Academy were both named 2021 National Blue Ribbon Schools.

U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona today recognized 325 schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2021, including both STISD middle schools – STISD Preparatory Academy (Preparatory Academy) in Edinburg and STISD Rising Scholars Academy (Rising Scholars Academy) in San Benito.
